Linde and Emaging Form Joint Venture

On May 26, 2026, global industrial gas giant Linde signed a cooperation agreement with
Chinese magnetic levitation expert Emaging in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, launching a new joint
venture named Emaging (Hangzhou) Gas Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. The partnership
marks a key milestone for both sides to deepen strategic collaboration and reshape the
industrial air separation landscape.
Linde is one of the world's leading industrial gas and engineering firms with nearly 150
years of technological heritage. As a pioneer in air separation technology, it covers air
separation, natural gas, hydrogen and syngas equipment sectors. With mature
engineering capabilities, complete operation systems and rich project experience, Linde
maintains a core global position and boasts solid local layout and extensive customer
resources in China.

As a top provider of overall solutions for magnetic levitation high-speed rotating
machinery, Emaging has built an independent intellectual property system for core
magnetic levitation technologies. It commits to industrializing magnetic levitation
innovation and supporting industrial energy conservation and emission reduction. Its
energy-efficient products have gained wide recognition in high-energy-consuming
industries.
The joint venture will accelerate the large-scale application of magnetic levitation
technology in air separation, semiconductors and new energy fields. By integrating
Linde's engineering strengths and Emaging's technological advantages, the alliance will
drive industrial low-carbon transformation and foster a new eco-friendly development
pattern across the global air separation industry.
